What is a word connection game?

The basic idea

Daily Impossible Path gives you a start term and a target term. You add one bridge word at a time, and each new word must have a meaningful connection to the previous word.

How it differs from word ladders

A word ladder changes letters. This game changes meaning. A good bridge can be a person, place, object, event, role, phrase, category, or famous association.

How it differs from trivia

You do not need one exact fact to solve every round. The best paths use clear ideas that many English speakers can understand once the connection is explained.

What makes a strong path

• Each adjacent pair has a clear connection.
• The path moves toward the target instead of wandering.
• The result uses fewer bridge words and fewer failed attempts.
• The final chain is easy to explain after the round ends.
